KLAIPĖDA BWN

The Klaipėda Business Women’s Network has been operating in the Klaipėda Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts since 2021.

The network currently unites over 13 businesswomen and managers from the Klaipėda and Tauragė regions, representing a wide range of sectors, including social services, real estate, education, commerce, advertising, manufacturing, business consulting, legal services, market research, and more.

ACTIVITIES

The Klaipėda Business Women’s Network is dedicated to fostering cooperation among businesswomen in Western Lithuania. Members of the network actively participate in national and international projects.

FORMS OF ACTIVITY

Annually, Klaipėda BWN organises around 10 events, including remote events:

  • Business lunches to discuss important and urgent business issues;
  • Business breakfasts during which the network and its activities, events and projects are presented and potential partners are invited to meet;
  • Visits to companies to discuss their management, best practices and business issues;
  • Open days with regional chambers;
  • Business missions and events organised by business women’s organisations in other countries;
  • Business events in the klaipėda and tauragė regions;
  • Projects and initiatives relevant to the western lithuania region.

Awards and recognition of members

We are proud of our members’ achievements and activities

  • Lina Gelažnikienė, founder and head of MB Pardavimų akademija, received a Token of Gratitude; the award was granted by the Klaipėda CCIC.
  • Alina Velykienė, director of UAB ‘Sinergijos projektai’ and the director of Klaipėda ballet school, received the bronze ‘Labour Star’, a bronze medal of honour; the award was granted by the Klaipėda CCIC.
  • Inesa Budginė, founder and creative director of UAB Stenda, was nominated for her outstanding contributions to the promotion of Klaipėda through creative solutions and her commitment to nurturing the young generation; the nomination was granted by the Klaipėda CCIC.
  • Kristina Vezbergaitė, lawyer, was recognised as the most active member of the Chambers; the award was granted by the Klaipėda CCIC.
  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dalia Martišauskienė was granted the title of the Ambassador of the Chambers; the award was granted by the Klaipėda CCIC.
  • Vida Ričkienė, founder and head of VšĮ ‘Ori senatvė’, was nominated for ‘Verslas didžiuojasi’ (The Proud Business); the nomination was granted by the Klaipėda CCIC.
  • Vida Ričkienė, founder and head of VšĮ ‘Ori senatvė’, was recognised as the Lithuanian Businesswoman of the Year; the award was granted by the ALCCIC.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE MEMBERSHIP

Only business owners/co-owners and top-level managers representing companies and organisations that are members of Klaipėda Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts are eligible to apply for the membership of Klaipėda BWN.

Those interested in becoming members:

  • The candidate is required to attend one open event organised by Klaipėda BWN;
  • The candidate should be recommended by at least one member of Klaipėda BWN and be approved by the Council;
  • The candidate is required to complete a written application form to join the network.
  • Annual membership fee for 2023 is EUR 50. / There is no joining fee.
