PANEVĖŽYS BWN

The Panevėžys Business Women’s Network has been operating in Panevėžys Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts since 2018.

The network currently unites over 25 businesswomen and managers from Panevėžys, Biržai, Anykščiai, Molėtai, and Utena, representing a range of sectors, such as logistics, education, commerce, manufacturing, art, business consulting, legal services, market research, and more.

Since 2019, Panevėžys Business Women’s Network has been a member of BPW International, one of the most prominent and largest international women’s organisations.

The Panevėžys Business Women’s Network promotes cooperation among the businesswomen in Lithuania and internationally, and fosters an environment conducive to women’s entrepreneurship.

FORMS OF ACTIVITY

Panevėžys BWN organises approximately 50 events on an annual basis, including remote events:

  • Monthly afternoon meetings-discussions on topical issues, often open to anyone who is interested;
  • Business breakfasts, where interesting guests are interviewed in an informal setting, prospective members are introduced, and projects and initiatives are discussed;
  • Company visits;
  • Business missions and events organised by business women’s organisations in other countries;
  • Leisure and sightseeing events and trips in Lithuania.

PROJECTS AND WORK GROUPS

There are two work groups in Panevėžys BWN. Each member may choose an area of activity that best suits their interests:

  • The Communication Work Group is responsible for coordinating cooperation and joint projects with social partners. Coordinator: Rasa Papinigienė.
  • The Membership and Events Work Group is responsible for attracting and involving new members in network activities, networking and events, publicising and raising the profile of members’ achievements, events, seminars, and tours. Coordinators: Rasita Kliučininkienė and Audronė Maldūnienė.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE MEMBERSHIP

Only business owners/co-owners and top-level managers representing companies and organisations that are members of Panevėžys Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts are eligible to apply for the membership of Panevėžys BWN.

Those interested in becoming members:

  • The candidate is required to attend at least two open events organised by Panevėžys BWN;
  • The candidate should be recommended by two members of Panevėžys BWN;
  • The candidate is required to complete a written application form to join the network.

Annual membership fee for 2025 is EUR 200. / There is no joining fee.
